Can it be a corrupt Apple ID? I’m at the Apple Store right now swapping the phone and I’m afraid if I put the same Apple ID on this phone it will happen again.I just tried it and had no issue. Deleted Cupertino and Boston, just to be sure. It was fine. Added them back again, fine.
Yep happens to mine. Weather app works great but can’t delete those locations. My weather app keeps crashing.
I open it and try and delete Cupertino and boom the app crashes.
Anyone else?
It's weird because it went away for me but then when I went to hit "Add" again, I didn't even have to add it back, the other two were deleted.Me too! I don’t think it will last though.
Done it all my friend. So many people are experiencing this. Just wish there was a way to get in touch with the people that code the iOS and let them see what we see.Have you tried shutting down the app from the app manager so it’s no longer running, then rebooting the phone, then opening up the app and trying again?

AppleCare support only has so many resources.
Just frustrating.
Thank you

If memory serves, that may have been the case several versions ago maybe? Though the Apple support document indicates that it’s truly deleting the app since iOS 14.I don't know if this is still true or if the Weather app fell under this category, but when Apple originally gave users the option to "delete" stock apps, they weren't really deleting them. They were deleting their visibility in the UI. "Reinstalling" stock apps was really just making them visible again, not actually downloading them fresh.
