Weather app

Anyone else having issues with the weather app not loading data? It’s been happening basically since iOS 26. Sometimes closing and reopening app works, sometimes not. It very annoying.

Yep, been happening a lot on my iPhone and iPad. Thought it was just me and my network.

having issues with the weather app now too. the home screen widget doesn't work, just shows "weather unavailable." i also think it's not auto-updating, or at least taking quite a bit to update

yep honestly starting to hate the weather app it sometimes never loads or loads slowly for no reason at all

Yeah I’m having problems for the last hour or so, but it’d been fine otherwise before today. Strangely the phone lock screen temperature widget seems correct, but the watch temperature widget is blank, and when I open the weather app on either my phone or my watch they’re just blank.

Downdetector shows an uptick in “Apple Support” issues on their home screen, whatever that means, so maybe Apple is having some service outages that aren’t widely reported yet.

Came here to see if this issue has been reported. Apple status page doesn’t report any problems. Both the weather widget and app are not loading any information. I’m on iOS 18 so it seems to be a problem on Apple’s side. Weather doesn’t load on my Macs as well.

Same here. No data loading on app or widget!

Same here...it will be fixed soon since its working as an widget but not if im in the app
Edit: its fixed now...loading time is for now, very slow

Same thing here. Both the stock Weather app and my own app (which pulls Apple Weather data via the WeatherKit API) are not displaying any weather data. Apple's Status page continues to show Weather as operational; but that doesn't seem to be the case.
