Weather Icon issues

Didn't work. This sucks, will have to remove everything one by one to fix it.

A long winded fix, but might not be a bad idea. Start with a fresh jailbreak and install weathericon first, then install other packages one by one to find out which one broke it. Once you find the bad package post on here and we could have the dev look into why the other package is breaking wethericon.

Out of interest do you have any of the packages I have installed that were listed above?

Weathericon is pretty buggy on iOS 5...it's always crashing my springboard because of that Libstatusbar extension it needs (which says specifically iOS 4).

Changing my location to a larger city fixed this for me.
I noticed the yahoo weather page for my town also didnt show an icon for the current weather.

Had the same problem with my 4S... was just messing with it. Went to Settings, then Location Services. Set Weather to Off. Went to home screen, tapped the weather icon, set the zip code manually... seems to be working properly for now. Just have to remember to set it manually if you leave town. Sorry if this doesn't work for you; worked for me though. Tested it out a few times.

Deleted jailbreak and redid it, this still doesn't work. Waste.

Well, weather icon (one of my favorite tweaks) has gone from bad to worse. It stopped working altogether about 3 days ago now. Never updates.

I've tried all the fixes in this thread.

I notice the weather plugin for lockinfo is also whacked now. Shows correct date and location but everything else is wrong.

Maybe it's interfering with some of the apps you guys have installed? Mine has been working perfectly ever since I got the JB. I have it set at every hour. I have it set to the local weather. Not manual input.

try Settings - Weather Icon - Weather Settings - Turn Enabled OFF. back to home screen and mine finally worked. went back and turned Enabled ON.

found the solution......make sure u set "app to theme" to the weather app...i have the icon settings as "on" for "show image" and "off" for "show badge". I was experiencing the same problem as you guys were, did the trick for me.....hope it does the same for u
