Been using a S8+ for my personal phone and a iPhone 7 as my work phone. Replaced the S8+ with a X and can’t seem to get the weather notifications like I had with android. I used Dark Sky which would notify me when it was going to start raining and stop. I am using Carrot on my X and get nothing on my phone or watch. Any suggestions on a app that will notify me on my phone and Apple Watch?

Dark Sky is available on iOS. Did it work well on Android? I like the sound of "hyperlocal weather information".

Yes! It had a nice notification that would tell you in “10 mins rain beginning”. Or some specific time. You would also get one for it stopping. It was usually pretty accurate. I just can’t seem to get that with iOS. The notifications that is.

You tried the iOS version of Dark Sky?

I use Storm, Storm Shield, and The Weather Channel apps....all 3 of those apps alert me. The Storm Shield app will actually speak (in the NOAA weather radio voice) when a weather alert comes. I recommend that one the most.
