Good question it is rare that you will actually see a live weather radar as a widget. The majority is just weather forecast and some have a live indication of mm/inches and % (e.g. DarkSky, Weather Nerd) of rain indication but these aren't exact live radars. Some do have a link (button) to the radar from the widget but that simply opens up the app.

The one that has a live radar as a widget is 'Rain Alerts' however this is only available in Germany, British Isles, Finland and the Netherlands and hasn't been updated in years and doesn't always display in the widget area.

Thanks so much. I’ve been going back and forth between Carrot Weather and Dark Sky. I like day-to-day forecasts in the widget vs hour-to-hour like a lot of widgets offer. A couple said they dropped radar support once Mapquest disallowed their mapping API around iOS 9. I live in Texas now and storm season is starting next week and really would find live (OY even lightly delayed) radar beneficial. This is quite a quest!

I like both day to day and hour to hour widgets and widgets that actually show handy information e.g. mm/inch and % chance of rain per hour and for the upcoming days but unfortunate there aren't much that have this (I look at Carrot Weather, Hello Weather, Overdrop that do have multiple weather sources).

The ones that do have % and mm of rain per hour/day (e.g. Partly Sunny, BeWeather3) lack the multiple weather sources and almost always use Dark Sky as their only source which isn't reliable in my region, country (The Netherlands) in my opinion.

Wow... I really like Hello Weather! Still no radar but I can just click on the widget and that clean interface just pops up. I like that I can change the data source (switched to Weather Channel). Thanks for that recommendation!

I'm glad I could help. I do hope as said before that Hello Weather (and Carrot Weather) would add mm/inch of rain besides % or rain in both the widget and app and the fact Hello Weather only shows upcoming hours and not giving the option to also show the upcoming days make it that I am not using it anymore. I still have it as my installed apps hoping that they will add these ones if the user wants to see this.

I found two weather apps which have a radar in the widget:

Weather & Radar USA (Pro) - free app, paid app (in Europe it is also available with the name Weather & Radar)
Weather ℉ - free and paid subscription app (you can optional watch full size video ads to get the features of the paid version for a few hours). It is important to note that the free version only uses DarkSky as a source and the radar update time is every 6 hours! So if you need accurate up to date info you do need to watch an ad or simply subscribe.

I don't understand why Apple doesnt add one in the default Weather.app. Same as a option to diplay the "Feels Like" tempeature as the main tempature shown in big letters at the top.
