    Hi Everyone,

I've just got myself a Macbook running 10.4.1 and i love it. Been a windows user for the last 15+ years.

I'm slowly getting used to how it works but at the moment i have a question, my brother lives in the US and we regularly chat using windows live messenger.

Is there a client or app for Mac that will allow me to carry on doing this without having to install VMware and running Windows? (which i refuse to do anyway!)

    Thanks

    Andy

You'll need a messenger program like Mercury. It's like MSN, but look different, gets a bit slow at times, but it's cool. Try that!

Why don't you both get Skype? It has better video and audio than Live Messenger. :)

Until Messenger for Mac supports A/V Go Adium.

    That doesn't have A/V either.

For online messenging you can also use Meebo, which has Webcam integrated.
