Gosh this was so relevant and on-topic... If you're so good at search engine marketing, you'd think you'd be a little better at targeting a better place to insert your spam.

As someone who has had both rMBP and a MBA, I have to say the biggest differences in the two boxes is display and battery. My MBA under my normal usage got 7-8 hours a day. I thought that was excellent battery life. My rMBP gets a bit over 5. I am pleased with that. I figure the offset is the display. The MBA has a very good display, but is not near as good as the rMBP.

I think it's funny people ask the MBA vs MBP question so much on here. Think of it as buying a car. There's the Toyota Prius, which you pay more dollar per spec, but you get longer drive per tank, but you get less acceleration and performance when it comes to going up hills and through rough terrain. There's the Toyota CRV, which has four wheel drive, better handling through mud, terrain, and lots more pickup with its V6 engine, but comes with poorer fuel economy, so you'll have to fill your tank more often. I can't tell YOU what you need, you have to decide based on what you use it for.

Personally size, and battery life are more important to me than screen resolution on a laptop... but I only use it when traveling. If I were using it as primary computer I'd likely think performance and screen quality were tops. They make various types of computers for a reason.
