Web Proxy - toggle by site?

    I subscribe to a web proxy service. Is there a utility that allows me to have my proxy "kick in" only when visiting specified sites? For example:

    1) browse to http://www.google.com - no proxy active
    2) browse to http://www.facebook.com - proxy automatically activates

    Dig through your proxy's documentation. If they don't offer it, probably not.

    Someone on another forum answered this question for me. Their advice was to write a .pac (proxy auto-config) file and apply it through the System Preferences. I did so, and it works beautifully. Here's where I learned how to write one, if anyone is interested:
