    Hi all,

I am trying to produce something similar to the recently updated SeismicXML sample code apple has provided but I'm having some difficulty trying to wrap my head around this conceptually.

In the simplest form, I want:
    - view controller A that can search/retrieve/display a dataset from web service
    - view controller B that can retrieve/display a defined dataset from web service
    - the datasets in A and B are of the same kind of formatting, just different data
    - view controller C with a map view that can pull display the dataset from A

I read somewhere that it's bad to have the connection logic tucked away inside the app delegate. Is it true in my case? If so, what would be the best approach to getting around this? Using a singleton perhaps? Should it have only the connection logic? If maybe somebody could describe what basic files I would need and the sort of logic should be included in each one (nothing too fancy), that would be help immensely.
