Hi,

I'm trying to do a bit of development on my mbp. I'm new to Mac in general, I only got this about 2 months ago. So after doing some searches I found out that it comes with apache built in, so I've been able to get that working and got the PHP5 module working too. I can access the default apache page fine (the one defined in httpd.conf as DocumentRoot). But the user accounts sites don't seem to work. I checked in my user directory, I have a directory called "Sites" and the permission is set to 755 as it should be to make it readable to the public but when I try localhost/~myUserName I get a 403 error. I've done some searching on the topic and found some really long discussions, some attempts at chown commands but no real clear answer to this. Since this feature is available through the Mac OS system preference GUI I would guess that there is a much easier way to get this feature working. For now it's not a big deal since I can just change the document root to whatever I feel like (same as if I was working on a linux on win system), but it would be nice to get this working properly.

Thanks
