If only that existed. Usually people just use skype and MSN with current friends.
For random, I'd say just use craigslist or something. Or give those porn sites a visit.

Tinychat is pretty straightforward and seems to do the trick. I have a friend who used to use it regularly and I'd join her every now and then if we hadn't spoke in a while...no complaints from my end.

www.stickam.com is pretty good. There is, of course, the odd pervert, but you can kick, or you can filter who you allow in. I quit because the novelty wore off after a while 🙂

there are some rooms there that will ban on first notice of any filth, but not many haha
