I have an aluminum IMac, but I'd like to buy a webcam that isn't fixed like the one built into the IMac. Do any of you have a model that you can recommend?

There are actually quite a few options for you depending on how much you want to spend. Virtually any webcam that states Vista compatibility will work perfectly on the Mac.
- if you have a video camera you could use this with the data cable attached.
- the XBOX Live camera is cheap and works great.
- Macally's IceCam2 is nice.
- Microsoft has a new LifeCam Show that actually kind of cool looking (IMO) and it comes with a few different mounting options.

Not at all, you will only have to enter the Preference Pane and change the source from where to get visuals.
