I want to buy a cheap webcam. Some say "noise-limiting microphone." I want a microphone which gives pure, unlimited, uncompressed sound with no auto volume setting etc. Is this available?

Find any Logitech Webcam they seem to run on older Macs!

Thanks for the reply. All the webcams I look at seem to have auto noise-cancelling. I don't want this. Can you turn it off?
