These are cameras which are viewable by anyone. Before there were apps like this, one could do a custom Google search and find these cameras and watch the feed. Say traffic cams, security cams, etc. That's basically what this app (and others like it) do, but in a prepackaged easy to use fashion. Some cameras you can even control the movement, which this app advertises as a function within as well.

Exactly! And, additionally, even more - you can also install any cheap IP camera at your home and always have a live video/remote control of your cam - available in Pro-version!
