Hello,

My site in my sig does not display properly on the iPhone browser. When i view it, the "reflection" effect on the photos on all the pages fades to white instead of black. It doesn't do this, as far as I can tell, on any other browser, just on the iPhone.

Anyone know what causes this/how to fix it?

Thanks a million.

I don't have an iPhone, but tried it out at iphonetester.com and I don't think I see the problem, but that also assumes this thing renders in the same way.

Edit: OK, just found where it said it wasn't a true test, but have also tried the site in iPhoney and it seems to show it correctly as well.

iphoney won't show it like an iphone either. It's using the same version of webkit as normal safari (iphone safari uses a specialized one)

Strange, my iPhone shows the reflection as white as well. Perhaps there's something in the way your page is coded that doesn't work with the iPhone browser. I'm not sure what it could be, though.

its a standard iWeb template that I used, which is why I'm confused.

Yeah, I figured that was likely the case, but didn't have anything else to check against. Apple should really provide some type of tool to test this type of thing out.

You can file a WebKit bug report at http://bugs.webkit.org/ and note that it's on the iPhone. When I see it I'll start working on it.

If you could make a page in iWeb that just has a photo and reflection (and it shows the bug) and use that for the bug report, it'd be much appreciated.
