Hi everyone, not sure whether this belongs here or ... I'll try it anyway. I have a 2 year old MacBook Air, running on Majove 10.14.6; several websites, sometimes randomly, crash and ask to be reloaded without really reloading. I have searched far and wide, deleted cache and history, checked extensions etc. and even compared side by side my own Macbook and my wife's. No joy. Any ideas anyone before I have to take it to my local computershop.

Hi. Got this regularly with LinkedIn. Not any other website.

Even I refresh the page sometime it is not enough . This only thing to do is to close the table and reopen a new one. As this is only with LinkedIn I guess this is a problem from the website, not safari / computer.

thanks but ... this has not happened before and it appears randomly with different websites I access.

I would advice you to try chrome or firefox a few days just to see if you have the same behaviour. If not, it's linked to safari and you should contact the apple hotline.

Firefox, Chrome and a lot of the other third-party browsers are updated by the developers on a continuing basis. Compare that to how often Safari gets an update and it's easy to draw the conclusion that Safari is unprepared to do what it is supposed to do.

I still use it every once in a while, though.
