iPod touch Webvnc Question?

I've been using webvnc with great success, while on my home network, but I have a couple questions that go along with it.
I know it works fine while on my own network, but i can't seem to figure out how to access my computer, while on a different network, say my school network. Is it possible to do so, and if so, how would I go about it?
