Jeez it's Grade-school all over again. That's alright sticks and stones. Anywho, I got to my store around 5:45 and I was 2nd (3 people so far). I really hope I get my 64 white wifi.

In line in Durham NC. About 50 or so it looks like so far. I don't know if they have any or how many but I hope it's enough. I'm only doing this once.

Got 32GB ATT black. Wanted only wifi, but the added 3g will still be cool to use on long trips!
My suggestion for everyone waiting on an online order, just go one morning. This was the first and only time I did, and I scored. It beats losing sleep and energy for the next 4 weeks.
I drove by an Apple store and the first 40-50 people were all Asians. It's pathetic

Do you think "not a white face in the bunch" makes that clear? Or does it mean dramatically much more than the line seemed to be filled with scalpers?
I feel like every thread turns into us complaining about the scalpers.
When I was in line there was a boy and girl ahead of me, the girl was Asian but not a scalper, just a student who wanted an iPad. She told me that in china town there are companies that are handing outn2 grand in cash to these Asians and they are doing all the work by waiting in line.
These scalpers can not be making a whole lot of money working for these (for lack of a better work) gangsters. If one can profit approx 200 from flipping one iPad they can not be making more than $75-$100 per iPad, and that is being generous, assuming these big iPad guys are nice and fair which I highly doubt.
It's an interesting concept and an interesting way for illegals or immigrants to make money. I only wonder what jobs they have when it is not black Friday or apple isn't selling a new hot item.
