Just a quick heads up for users of WeeKillBackgroundPro, the latest update (v1.3.3) will send your iPhone into a boot loop. Just when you think it's out of the loop SB will crash again and loop some more. Also pulling down NC will crash SB. This is what I've experienced today, YMMV.

I will contact the dev to see if he is aware of this issue.

    Neil.

Thanks for posting this. I didn't have the boot loop, but pulling down NC was crashing my phone. I was getting pretty frustrated and just about went through the hassle of restoring/rejailbreaking, but happened to spot this thread.

If you boot into Safe Mode by holding Volume Up, can't you just go into Cydia, uninstall, then that would fix the issue?

Do people not know about this method, because I see a lot of posts where people say they restore then re-jailbreak....

Ran into the exact same issue just now, and I sent an email to the developer as well. To those who experience this issue:

If your screen freezes (mine did) and you can't get it to respond no matter what you do, hold down the sleep button and home button. The phone will go black and eventually come back I safe mode. Open cydia and remove the tweak, then restart springboard. All will be back to normal.

Probably, but that requires you know exactly what tweak is causing the issue. So what takes less time, restore/rejailbreak or methodically testing each and every tweak you have installed until you find the culprit?

I had no issues with 1.3.3 on my iPhone 5, but in any case WeeKillBackground Pro has been updated to 1.3.4.

Guess I need to update to 1.3.4. I didn't experience the bootloop but I did get a reboot or respring from pulling down NC. I just disabled the widget and NC stopped crashing.

I didn't have these issues, but it just straight up doesn't seem to work for me.

    Any ideas?

Well I did the methodically testing, found the culprit, then posted here, hope it helped some people.
