Weekly Alert Program?

I want to be reminded to backup my system every Tuesday. What program can I download that would give me a nice reminder each and every Tuesday?

Don't you have iCal installed?

Make a weekly repeated task and set it to remind you at the time of your choice...

i was going to suggest iCal as well, its probably the easiest solution that i know of

Yes.

Just make sure iCalAlarmSceduler is started on login. Should be done by default. Can be checked in System Preferences -> Accounts -> your account -> Login Items.

Yes. I have tons of weekly and monthly reminders that are set to email me 5 minutes before the event. That way when Mail checks my email every 5 minutes, I can be sure to get it...
I usually use it to remind me of after school stuff, TV shows, and changing contacts 😱.
