It's OK, I saw the original, and that's exactly what I thought when I put the camera card into my iMac.

I was trying to get the finch as it stood still with the running water, focussed on the head and beak, but as I squeezed the button it shook violently. Just bad timing really, but looked kinda interesting in the end.

Oh my, I just re-read the critique, and found that I'd won 😵

Now that is absurd, to win a comp with a photographic mistake 😀

Super fun topic and images. Congrats to the winners. The comments were worth waiting for.😀

The parallelogram was merely to further squash whatever slim hope the image failed to convey. As to a lower angle I'll happily leave that to you younger folks. Having earned my DOML* several years ago, I have no trouble getting that low. OTOH getting back to the upright can be rather daunting, sometimes even requiring spousal assistance.

*DOML=Dirty Old Man License.
