This week fell to me by default and I'm kind of excited by it. I had a little trouble deciding but I'm going with "Okey Bokeh."

Pretty straight forward - show me your best bokeh photos. One exception is that it needs to be true bokeh from your camera - not that blur filter stuff. Photos can be from your archives but I'm hoping to see some Thanksgiving fun in there since this is happening over the holidays and I know you will have your cameras at the ready! Try to be creative - I love photos of flowers enveloped in bokeh but we can do better. Flowers/fauna are absolutely welcome, just make sure it's really great if that's what you're submitting.

Best of luck to you all and have a great holiday!

    Rules:
    Be creative and have fun.
You may only submit one photo per contest.
Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
The contest runs for exactly one week, starting NOW! (see time/date stamp at the start of this thread.)
At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

OK, I will open the bidding and set the bottom feeder benchmark...
*EDIT* - Sorry, change of strategy. Someone whose judgement I trust gave me a slap and woke me up for not bringing my game....

I'll put this here as a placeholder in case I get a chance to take anything better this week.

LOL. What? My flowers/fauna comment don't help my Feminine Mystique?

Er, no... I like pictures of flowers and fauna in shallow DoF and last time I looked in the bath, there was no feminine or mystique...

I was just messing about. FM was the book largely responsible for kicking off the feminist movement in the 60s and women breaking the gender norms bestowed upon them by society.

But that's for a different thread/sub-forum. Let's keep this to our genderless photography.

Hi all! Hope you had a lovely holiday, if Thanksgiving is something you celebrate and/or you are in the US. Otherwise, I hope you had a lovely weekend.

Just a reminder that there is a little over 24 hrs left in this contest. It closes on Tuesday at 3:36pm ET (you can convert that to whatever your time zone is).

Sorry nothing remotely thanksgiving in my back catalogue (being from Europe), but here's one to make up the numbers.
