The theme of this contest is a night time cityscape. To keep this contest specific, your image must fit the theme. Landscapes of the city at night. No people allowed as main subjects. Bonus points for Long exposures and high detail images. No extreme HDR work please. I'm very excited to see your images.

Rules:
  • Be creative and have fun.
  • You may only submit one photo per contest.
  • Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
  • The contest runs for exactly one week, starting NOW! (see time/date stamp at the start of this thread.)
  • At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
  • The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

A seven image panorama of Adelaide, South Australia, where the harbour is in the outer suburbs, so there is no grand body of water to reflect the city from.

This week almost broke my resolve to always enter a photo no matter what.

Yes it is tough sometimes with the quality here. I have a long way to go but the key is to use it as a way to develop. To me it is a weekly challenge for myself where it pushes me to go out and maybe try something new that otherwise I probably wouldn't of.. And it is always good to see how different people interpret the brief differently.

Thougb with the rotten weather here in Glasgow right now, I can see a few weeks of library photo use ahead... :-(
