Welcome to this week's photo contest thread!

Theme: Iconic Images

Typically I enjoy contests that do not "focus" on a particular subject but rather on a technique. However, since I will not have an entry this week, I will do the opposite. This week's contest is looking for ICONIC IMAGES. Images that are globally recognized and hopefully represented an a new or creative way. Each week, most of the photo entries are from different corners of the world. This is your chance creatively to show off your homeland.

Where exactly is that? Perhaps a caption might be a good idea, so that people can see at a glance what the 'iconic image' is and where it can be found.

While I can see from reading the 'url' when I decided to post that it is a Disney palace, I am not sure which one it actually is as I never visited any of them.
