Weekly Photo Contest! (9/12/11-9/19/11) Topic: Contrast

    Rules:

    1. You may only submit one photo per contest.

    2. Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.

    3. The contest runs for exactly one week, starting NOW! (see time/date stamp at the start of this thread)

    4. At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible. (Judge has 24 hours to make decision)

    5. The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest.
    (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme)

    EDIT: after looking through my archives i found a much better version of my original picture and i took it with a point and shoot so its much better quality. that is the picture i have posted here

    Just checking in folks. The contest will be closing in a few hours, but it already looks like i have my work cut out for me. If im not too tired from this evenings workout judging will happen tonight, if not first thing in the morning.

    San Diego fires... 2003

    Just before midnight here on the west coast! This simple shot was taken during San Diego's firestorm back in 2003. It was a pretty odd sight to see at 12 noon. This shot captures it well. Thanks for looking-

    Sorry for not saying something about all the photos, but im pressed for time.

    Beautiful sunset, loving the colors!

    Second Place:
    Simple, clean, and effective. Excellent capture.

    First Place:
    Not sure whats going on here, but i'd love to know more. Well done! Please post the next contest.


    EDIT: not sure why the images disappeared I have the chrome extension installed to auto timg them, but no time to putz around with it.
