Weekly Photo Contest (Jan 6th - Jan 13th) - Drink

Thank you all for another wonderful event

"I would just like to thank my Nikon D50 and Nikkor 28mm f/2 AI manual focus lens for its wonderful award winning shot. I would also like to thank all the judges who gave this competition their very best and did an outstanding job. I don't think I could have done a better judging job myself. I hope to meet the expectations that have come to represent the very best in the previous judges.

And finally, I would say that, you know, we are a little bit of a selective focus in Macrumours every once in a while. I think it's probably a good thing. Besides, we're the ones who type and talk about Digital Photography when it was just being whispered, and we talked about Canon when it wasn't really popular. And we, you know, we bring up composition. This Weekly Photo Contest, this group of people, gave Me, Me a First Place when the eyes were still out of focus even when Kodachrome was still the only film worth having. I'm proud to be a part of this Photo Contest. Proud to be part of this community, and proud to be out of focus every once and a while."



So, I guess I have until tomorrow to come up with a theme for the next competition.

deep diver: Nice shot - sharp, good composition and well captured. I'm not feeling the 'drink' theme too strongly with this one though
