Weekly photo contest | March 30 – April 6 | Joyful

I liked idea from the last contest to have photos that are directly tied in one way or the other to a specific emotion, so I'm ribbing that – but go in the opposite direction: give me something that is joyful, either purely in atmosphere or specific objects, situations, or persons that convey that feeling.

As always, the standard rules apply:

• The photographs must be your own work. No AI generated images.
• You may only submit one photo per contest.
• No commenting or liking photos until after the judging has taken place.
• This contest runs for about a week, starting now.
• At the end of the competition, the judge (last week's winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
• The 1st place winner will start a new thread here with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).
• Be sure to update the Contest Master List as soon as you post a new theme.
• The contest will close on Saturday, April 6th at 18:00 CEST

I. know that's the rule! But why does it even matter? Surely the great members, who have the talent to win the previous competition, are not influenced of the popularity of a photo!

Here's my judgement. As I'm somewhat preoccupied with personal matters, I'm going to keep it short.

@_timo_redux_ Certainly an infectious joyful laugh. Lovely.

@goldmac2006 Dancing can express a lot of joy. It looks very energetic.

@mtbdudex A wedding dance? A joyful moment for sure. I like the backlighting.

@oblomow A couple of storks celebrating the hatching of their offspring. Adorable!

@C0ncreteBl0nde Having the sun on your face on a nice day. Enjoyable!

@Snowlover Snowlover's dog loves snow? Who would have thought… The dog certainly seems to enjoy it.
