Your creative mission this week is Low Angles.

All shots realised through vantage points that are far below expected viewpoints are welcome.

Think like an ant. Walk like an ant. Be an ant.

    Good luck

    Rules:
    • The photographs must be your own work.
    • Be creative and have fun.
    • You may only submit one photo per contest.
    • Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
    • The contest runs for one week, starting NOW! (see time/date stamp at the start of this thread.)
    • At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
    • The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

I'm new to photography, can you explain what kind of shots you are looking for.

    Thank you!

    Hi @malofx
    Welcome to this week's contest.
Any picture shot from a low angle, but "low" really depends on the subject you are shooting.
A google search will render you enough results for you to get inspired.
    Good luck!

So, thanks at everybody for participating in this week's contest!!

I would like to remind that all evaluations are subjective and I am by no means any kind of authority to judge my fellow forum members. I also opted this time to go with a 5-star rating system over 5 aspects I decided upon (also translated to: self acclaimed judgmental privileges that have been left unchecked on my side :D)

    And the winners are:
    1st place @malofx (3,8 average)
    2nd place @Apple fanboy , @anotherscotsman , @The Bad Guy (3,6 average)
    3rd place @Indydenny (3,2 average)

    Congrats to you guys!
    malofx, over to you!

That's very amusing judging right there! A spreadsheet!
Congrats to the winners and thanks for the nod on second place.

Well done on the win. Thought this was going to be the case when I saw it.

I am sorry @pmxperience , but I submitted the results about an hour ago.
Come to think of it, I should have announced the closing of the contest beforehand, but submissions had stopped coming in two days ago.

    to the next one..!

edit: I also did not consider the international dateline. My apologies

Great idea for judging ! Like the Olympic figure skaters get judged ( sorta/kinda ... maybe) or a restaurant review . Beats my method ( bottle of bourbon and a dart board ) .Anyway , congrats to the placers .....

I thought this method would level out the board and "judge" everyone on a common basis :)

Tough one to judge this week, but thee judging was excellent. The winner was deserved and won the moment it was posted. Well done.
