I confess I was rushed and posted the first I found that was anywhere close to the theme. Of course, I did consider the boots photo, but I had only recently posted that on the main Photo of the Day thread:
My submission was taken in 2010 . It's located behind a grocery/deli in Inverness California . Beached some time back in Tomales Bay . Alledgedly , the vessel dates from the 1940's and was aquired by someone who was going to restore it .I get out to the SF Bay area every few years and frequently go back to check the boat out . Sometime before my visit in 2021 , the stern area was set on fire , leaving the boat like this ....
Last year , at about this time , I passed through and this was left ....
