Weight of Macbook pro 2009 2.53ghz 15 inch

Could someone with the 15 inch 2.53ghz model weigh your machine? I just want to know the weight without the 2nd fan and the 9600gt. Thanks!

You mean you want the weight down to the hundredth of a pound? Out of curiosity, why do you need that level of precision?

Apple says the 15" one is 5.5 Pounds or 2.49 kg the fan isn't heavy at all, they'res probably no difference
