I have a Mac Studio M2 Max running Sequoia 15.7.9. For the last couple of months I have been having some weird problems with Mail. This isn't a problem on either my iPhone 15 Pro or even my old iPad.

Every morning, when I open Mail, all new messages are displayed but none contain any content. If I close Mail and then open it a couple of times then about half the emails, the most recent ones, will download their content. The others will just say "Loading" and nothing happens and some will actually be labelled "This message has not content." Sometimes, throughout the day, the content of some of these messages may download but it is very hit and miss.

At the start of every month I go through all my old emails from two months previous and delete all the ones I no longer need. Any that I want to keep I just Archive. Upon trying to do this today, the messages I delete don't go into the Bin, they just re-download into the Inbox. This is becoming very annoying. In the Mail app I only have my Apple iCloud mail account.

Any help with resolving this would be very much appreciated. I am stumped as to what to do and haven't found any answers anywhere else.
