Weird Apple pay issue

I am facing an issue with Apple Pay on my iPhone 6s, I have my cards added to apple pay, and when I try to pay with touch id, after the fingerprint is verified, it says "Touch ID or passcode required to pay", I know it recognizes my finger, because if I try to use the non-configured finger, it rejects the finger print. I verified that the touch ID is enabled for apple pay in setting, and on iPhone 6. Has anyone seen this issue before?
 
hi mrsan - o experienced the same issue this morning - never seen it before myself - has only happened this occasion since i started using apple pay in july - but used it a bit after in another shop and it worked with touch id
