Weird battery charging iPhone 6s

Hello all, I have a very weird charging on my iPhone. Lets say I plug it for charging and do not use it - it is charging super slow. As soon as I start using it while charging...it sharges enormously fast. What the heck?

You can't overcharge modern batteries. The phone automatically stops charging once the battery reaches 100%.

False. 100% false. This is an old wive's tale left over from rechargeable NICAD days. Look up trickle charging with lithium-ion.

Similarly, there is no "memory" to li-ion as there was in NICAD, so it's best to top off li-ion whereas with NICAD it was best to drain all the way down and then up.

LOL!!!

There is little hope for you if you still believe this is true. I have charged every Apple iPhone overnight while sleeping and zero came to any harm.

You know not what you are talking about!

Is this something that you have measurable results for or just something that you've noticed?

May I suggest running battery down to 50%. Then plug it in and time how long it takes to reach 60% without your interference. Then run it down to 50% again and time how long it takes to reach 50% with your surfing web, watching a video, etc.

The battery shouldn't drain while charging under normal use, and iPhones don't exactly charge fast compared to what's out there now but it shouldn't be anything remarkably slow either.

I would try restoring your phone and setting up as new or better yet go get a replacement because that's not normal

I just went to charge mine and it did a weird buzzing thing, like how it normally buzzes to tell you its charging but it keeps doing it over and over. What is that about?

Usually that would mean that it starts and stops charging over and over.
