Weird battery drain problem

Hey guys, I have an interesting issue with my battery after jailbreak that i'm hoping someone else has experienced

I'm noticing that my battery is draining at a quicker rate than usual (~1-2% every 7-10 min) when the screen is on and i'm using my phone. When the screen is off in standby, the battery drain is minimal

anyone else notice this?

what?...1-2% every 10 minutes is very normal...

You should just be worried about if you can make it a whole day or not. If you can't, you should look into your stats and see how much you are using your phone. For more accurate and easy-to-understand numbers, you should just give us the usage/standby times and the percentage remaining (whenever you recharge it back to 100%).

To put it in context, 1%/10 mins = approx 16 hrs and 40 mins of battery time.

If you can get over 16 hours of iphone USE, you're doing pretty well.

Wow! you better than mine w/o JB. My drop 1% fast everything I talk on 3G..

My first Iphon4 jailbroken just dead out on battery after a month..don't know what the issue..

i erred in my original estimate though, its actually more like 1-2% every 4-5 minutes or so...is that still normal?

I've search a lot of forum and jailbreak have nothing to do with battery drainage. This just started?

I found this topic on about how we charged our phone can affect battery drain.

Is it 1-2% drain ever 4/5 mins OF USE? Or standby?

Because if it's of use, then we're still in 8-9 hours of use, which whilst not spectacular, I think is about right.
