So yesterday I updated my iPad Pro 11 2020 from 15.7.1 to 16.1.1.

When I open up the app “messages” on my iPad I can’t scroll down through the bottom of all my messages.
The last message won’t stay on the screen, it just scrolls automatically up to the one before.
It’s hard to explain so I recorded a video of it.

I have tried to restart the iPad, toggling iCloud off no on, used both landscape and portrait mode.
Even tried to delete one of the 24 messages so just to see if there is a limit of messages in total on the iPad.
Nothing seems to help.

Is there anyone else’s that having this issue on iPad OS 16.1.1?

(And no, I’m not gonna update my iPhone to 16.1.1 to see if it’s both iPad and iPhone or just iPad😁)

Try changing the window size with Stage Manager and see if the behaviour persists. In particular, try making it a very narrow window. I also recommend trying with the on-screen keyboard up

I changed the window with stage manager as you said, and it worked!
Now I can even read and scroll at the bottom in the message app, even in full window. Thanks!😊👍
