Hey guys,

I've been using Chrome on my MBP since I bought it no problems. But recently I am unable to view videos/embedded media on sites, especially youtube, and where the video should be looks like a small window of what's under Chrome. In this case, iTunes was in the background and you can see the song list through the video frame. Any ideas? I marked with a red square what I mean:

Does this happen with all browsers?
Are you using one of the beta versions of Chrome?
Did you recently upgrade Chrome to a new version.
Try downgrading to a version that didn't have the problem.

Just with Chrome
Nope, latest version
It upgraded automatically as soon as the newest stable version was out, about 2 months ago, this problem was born about two weeks ago.

I guess I'll try your option if I can't find any solution

Transparent video box in Chrome 12 & 13

I have downgraded from a Chrome 13 beta to 12.0.742.112 and the problem has returned. As I scroll Web pages that contain an embedded video box (such as YouTube clips) I can hear the audio but all that I see in the box is content from a window below. No similar problem with Safari 5.0.5 or Firefox 5.0 for Mac.

Running 2.66 i7 MBP 6,1 - OS X 10.6.8 (8GB)

Same problem as above, started happening about a week ago. Any ideas why its happening? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
