I had the screen of my Macbook pro replaced because of a problem with the coating. But the new screen has some kind of circle visible. I assume it's the backlight as the circle is located behind the content on my screen. I assume it won't go away by itself and should be replaced again?

Looks like pressure marks, or some imperfections inside the LCD on one or more of the internal layers. You should have it replaced again.
