These weird notes just popped up in my tracking last night...they weren't there before last night. This is just a snippet of my tracking - it did arrive in my city earlier this morning. Is anybody else seeing this?

Wouldn’t that be normal when clearing customs?

No idea, I've never seen this on my other shipments coming from China. Even so, power of attorney?

It’s normal customs processes between shippers, governments, and receivers. Nothing to worry about.

Perhaps they’re simply trying to be more transparent or keep better notes with these iPhones.

It is normal in every way. Sometimes UPS shows this on the tracking and sometimes it does not.

All is good with your order.

I have all of that crazy info on my tracking too. Nothing about power of attorney though. It was eventually processed in Louisville and arrived in Lexington at 5:30am. Ready for pick-up.
