I've been having an issue with Firefox 3.6b5. For some reason, seemingly at random, one or both of my cores jumps up to 90% - 100% and causes major lag with clicking and scrolling in FF and sometimes even in the OS itself. I originally though the problem was caused by the newest Flash beta (10_1_p2), but the problem has happened when nothing flash related is open (that I can see). I've recently moved back to 3.5.7 (though still running Flash beta) and I haven't run into this problem yet.

I haven't opened up a bug report with Mozilla because I can't seem to reproduce the bug on command. I wanted to see if anyone else is running into the same problem, hence me making this thread. Anyone run into this issue or something similar?

Edit: Turns out the issue might be with the Flash Beta and Firefox (any build). : sighs: and of course there is no easy way to uninstall Flash on a mac.......

No one has run into this problem? Sweet. My install is as screwed up as I am.

Take it I should wipe out my profile and start from scratch?
