Weird Finder Issue

My finder status bar shows 207 odd GB free, where as in disk utility only 60 GB (which is the correct value) is shown. I have done all the usual suspects.. Disk permission repair, deleting finder cache etc. Any clue why? Have attached the screen shot.

removed local snapshots and now finder is reflecting the right values

Yep - as designed. Finder reports 'usable space'. DU reports used space.
