my 42in LG tv creates a weird flicker and noise every few minutes at random. it last for half a second if even that. the noise can very, it can be a pop, a creak, a snap. sometimes there isn't even a noise
any ideas what could be causing this, and a solution? i just had the same monitor hooked up to a 2012 mac mini and there wasn't an issue. ran that way for 3 years.
edit/ i've also noticed that as it's happening, the tv/monitor will generate a hum for a second
