The image below keeps happening on my MacBook lately, and I'm not sure of the cause. I'm running Snow Leopard and recently replaced my HD to a 500gb. Western Digital that has been nothing less than annoying due to the excessive noise it creates. Is it possible that this is a HD or graphics issue or just a glitch in the OS? I'm not exactly the smartest when it comes to diagnosing computer problems so all help is appreciated.

Graphics problem (not hardware related), back everything up, reinstall Snow Leopard, do a erase and install (make sure EVERYTHING is backed up using time machine), then after installation you can select migration assistant to transfer your data over from a time machine backup (hence, back EVERYTHING up).
