Every so often while in my room I will hear my iPod, which is turned off, or sleeping, make hard drive clicking noises. I am guessing that this is not normal. The iPod functions fine otherwise, but should I get Apple to look at it?

That's the iPod going into "deep-sleep" mode to save power. Nothing to worry about, although I do find it a bit annoying. Notice when you push a button, the Apple logo on the black screen shows up for a few seconds, and then it gets you right back to where you were?

Do I want to keep the sleep mode enabled, or should I turn it off? With sleep mode disabled, will "turning it off" completely shut it down or what?
