So everything works fine, everything is where it should be. There's one tiny problem.
When I get a message when my phone is locked, the screen turns on like normal, but then won't go off. It just stays there for minutes draining my battery. Is there something I can do? I'm at work, so I haven't tried restoring it. That was my last option idea.
The phone didn't do this previously.

It fixes it when I turn off the show in lock screen option for text notifications. So it's not as bad, but I want it normal.

Then you messed something up. tear it down and try again.
If you took it to Apple, they would of done it right.

And I would be out 200$ how awesome that would be.

Anyone here that wants to help and not be a parent about this s***??

the problem is that when you DIY, you simply run the risk of messing something up.

option 1? - do it all over again, maybe youll get it right.

option 2? apple.

3? - nothing

its not like we can say oh yeah, you didnt connect circuit a to circuit b correctly since the phone is not in front of us.

good luck with any option.
