I repaired an iPhone 6 Plus today that had a cracked screen. Transferred all camera pieces, home button, etc. All was well. Go to turn it on and nothing. Not a thing.

Thing is, it doesn't even let me mute toggle to make it vibrate. If I plug it in, it doesn't make the charging noise. It's as if the entire phone is dead. (Battery is fine)

I thought maybe the phone died somehow during the installation (have no idea how it would die, but whatever.)

I reconnected the old cracked screen and it turned on fine..

What?

So I tried the replacement screen again. Nothing.

I tried the original screen again. Nothing?
What the heck is going on?

I disconnected the battery and reconnected it, but nothing. Not sure what to do from here.

I'll order a new screen, but why would the phone be completely unresponsive with this screen installed? Wouldn't it just have a black screen but still work otherwise if the screen itself was broken? What is going on here?
