Please don't take this is an advertisement, but this is just an example of a webpage in Safari that renders the language weird... this happens to other sites as well...

How do I fix this and make it so the language is read as english?

It IS an advert (as) you posted (it).

You could've cropped the picture, removing all the extemporaneous stuff - everything, but...

The only thing, which appears 'weird' is the bottom line, a green-coloured bar, with white text on it - is that what you're referring to?

One (possible cause of this) problem has to do with Fixed-width text not appearing correctly in Safari after Lion upgrade (click on that).

Another possibility has to do with Safari can't find the exact font, or a close substitute, and if you open Font Book, and validate your fonts (follow the built-in help menu, it will have 'troubleshooting' steps which root out the cause (corrupted or duplicate fonts can cause probs). Once you've cleaned up the fonts, and made sure it's not just a duplicate or font database issue. call AppleCare (but, most likely, this will not be necessaryo_O (this is something which sometimes happens to almost everyone).
