I have a 2011 17" mbp with both mac and win(bootcamp) installed. I felt random network lags under mac osx, so I made some tests as below.

I try to ping my wireless router - pure 802.11g mode, and the result seems weird.
Mac os x: min/max/avg 1/100/30
win: min/max/avg 1/100/3
I could understand that wifi connection is not stable enough and randomly high ping is acceptable. But I have no idea about the avg latency under mac os x since it's about 10 times bigger than under windows.

I have tested wifi connectivity with my iphone just beside my mbp. The latency turned out to be normal at 5ms. I read that it is a BCM43xx wireless card. I know that broadcom's wireless card has some issues under linux distribution. But I'm not sure if there's any bug or something related in a BSD kernel.

Could someone help me please? Thank you all.
