Serioiusly, what is that? It's not Spaces, but it looks similar. And is Spotlight going to be an application like Exopse is now?
_Matt said:Whoa. That is definitely not the Spaces icon.![]()
And the Spotlight icon in the finder explains why in some images of Leopard presented during the keynote the icon was not present in the top right corner.
CoMpX said:It seems to me like they have turned Spotlight into an App that works similarly to Dashboard. It's not really an app, but it is in the Dock, and OS X treats it like one. I think Spotlight has been reworked to behave similarly.
_Matt said:In addition, can anyone vouch that the Spotlight icon does not appear in the top right corner of the keynote preview?
CoMpX said:It does, in fact, appear.
_Matt said:Thanks. The image I saw of it not in the upper right was when that platform experience guy was up and iPhoto froze.

I can't make out anything in those images - even the dock icons are tiny.
Anyone got any bigger images?
TheSailerMan said:I'm thinking that MAYBE the mystery icon is Spaces. Maybe we can have more than 4 desktops, and a new icon is made in the dock when you have 5 or more.

wwooden said:Could the mystery icon be the Dashboard widget maker that Steve was talking about? Not the one that you can make instantly with websites, but the one for developers? It sorta looks like a few widgets in the icon.
That is my guess.
