Hey everyone,

I just noticed a problem that came up within the past few weeks or so. I have the latest version of Pages on my iPad, iCloud, and MS Word 2010 for PC. I usually type up my documents on the iPad, store them in iCloud, download them from iCloud to the Word format, and then print them out on my PC. But when i open them in Word, there is this very weird spacing that isnt fixed by changing the format, line spacing or anything (see the pictures). Does anyone else have this problem?

I noticed something similar with Pages documents typed on my MBP and transferred to Office on PC's at school and work. I just chocked it up to some incompatibility or what not and fixed it on the fly.

I just had the exact thing happen. I fixed it in word by selecting all the text and choosing the font again. Weird.

I am student and was trying to use pages on the mac and pages on the iPad, but that whole setup doesn't seem to work so well yet. Everytime I made a change on the mac, then I could not download the pdf or word version from iCloud.com. Once I opened the file on the iPad and made one change then iCloud.com would work fine.

Maybe iOS 6 will help some of this out.

Amazing. Just found this by googling. The highlighted text above fixed the issue for me. And it's August 2015. At the point of writing, I'm using the very latest version of Word 2013 and the very latest version of Pages for Mac (5.5.3).

That's pretty weird; I am in a Masters program and do all of my writing in Pages then save the final product as a Word document so I can turn it in, and haven't seen anything like that. My writing is in APA format. It sort of looks like for that section you have line spacing enabled, but I haven't ever seen a document selectively include spacing like that unless it was copy/pasted from a source with different line spacing without removing the formatting.
