Weird Linksys Router issue

Ok I log into my linksys router and in there is a utility that you can ping out from router and do a trace route. I do both and they work fine. If I try to ping via command line in OS 10.5.3 it fails. I even tried to ping by IP and that still fails. I tried defaulting the router. Still any computer I connect hard or wireless can communicate with the router but cannot go beyond it. If I connect computer directly into the DSL modem it works.

I am confused. Any ideas?
